Since 2001, Hightower Electrical Contractors, LLC has been serving the greater Philadelphia area. We are a family run business, with over 35 years of overall experience in the electrical trade. Owner operator, Mike Lowrey, personally oversees and provides the installations.

Once the installation was complete, Mike took a lot of time explaining the workings of our generator and how best we might to get to know our “Genny”.

I did my homework. I got more than one estimate. I compared notes. I hired Hightower Electrical Contractors. In a word…AWESOME. Mike says this is the way he works all the time. My opinion is Mike and his crew went above and beyond, every step of the job. They did it right the first time, with safety in mind. They were neat and organized, cleaned up afterward, and made sure I was satisfied before they left. Mike reviewed the safety operation of the unit, the basics for a new owner, answered questions and made me comfortable with the system. Hightower will be my first (and only) call for future projects.
Start at the beginning. I wanted a whole house, auto-switch, natural gas generator. I checked reviews, researched generators & installation. EVERYONE said get a Generac. You’ll never regret it. So I scheduled estimates. The other companies came. They talked a good game, but forgot to mention a few important things that could cost me time and a lot of extra money. So, I contacted Generac customer service on their website, and they sent me Mike. First thing he explains about township requirements, gas company requirements. My house is a little older. Is the gas line to the street the right size, is the meter the right size? The gas company makes these decisions. (The other guys never mentioned this stuff.)
Mike walked through every step of the process, and answered every question I came up with and some I didn’t know to ask. While the other guys were talking the easy way or the fast way to do the job, Mike was talking the right way and the safest way, for the best results. Mike filed the township plans and permits, scheduled the inspections, and did the whole job soup to nuts. Awesome just about sums it up.
